How to Become a Five-Dimensional Winner
How to Become a Five-Dimensional Winner
WITH PETE VARGAS
I hope your holidays were rich and restful and that you are ready to tackle 2024. It’s sad to say, but data shows us that most people who have made New Year's resolutions have already given up. We are not going to let you do that.
Some of you haven't done anything with the things that were in your heart last year. I want you to ask yourself, what is it that you have to strip off and get rid of to win in 2024? For many people, it’s fear that must go. Maybe it is fear of not being enough or fear of failing. A huge hang-up for many people is their battle with imposter syndrome. Are you comparing yourself to people online who appear to have everything together (which we all know is not the case) and coming away feeling terrible about yourself?
It’s time to strip off those insecurities and self-doubt so you can run at full speed. Today I want to build some framework that will help you to dominate in 2024, but I don’t want you to just win in one area this year.
I want to help you become a five-dimensional winner in 2024.
I’m going to share with you a process that my wife and I walk through every year which we call our wellspring wheel. This is a process that helps us take an honest inventory of five areas of our lives. All five of these areas need our full attention and effort. There was a time in my life when my wife felt like she was holding on by a thread with our kids in tow because I was out of balance. Yes, I was experiencing some success in business, but I was bleeding out in other areas which made it difficult to enjoy the successes I was seeing. I’ve learned that I need to inventory in all five of these dimensions.
As I go through this process, I list several things that worked and several things that didn't work. This helps me to get clear on my intentions and my goals for the coming year in each of these domains.
Wellspring Wheel
The first area I rate is my faith
For me, this involves assessing how much time I spend in prayer and in the Word of God. How much time did I spend developing and walking in my spiritual gifts? How much time did I spend listening to God? Maybe for you, it’s spirituality but for me, my faith is the most important thing in my life.
The second area is my health
This consists of my physical, mental, emotional, and recreational health. Recreational health simply means did you have fun? This is a category that most people miss, but it’s so important that we are taking time to enjoy life!
The third dimension is relationships
What relationships matter most to you? For me, I rate my relationship with my spouse, my kids, my extended family, and my friends and community.
The fourth dimension is wealth
Making, managing, and multiplying money. I'm super grateful to Grant Cardone for modeling for me the difference between making money and multiplying money. Making money often takes your time. Multiplying doesn't take your time outside of what it takes to create the process or find the vehicle. I did my due diligence on one of Grant's properties last year and decided I wanted to invest in it. Now, every month I get a check on my returns with zero time invested. That's the multiplication bucket. Some of you need to spend some more time in the multiplication bucket.
The fifth dimension is my business
After I take a personal inventory of my business, I use this very simple plan to reverse engineer my year by determining the stages I will book to grow my business. I want to share that exercise with you today.
There are four parts to this game plan around using stages to build your business.
Now go to 10Xstages.com/2024gameplan for the whole life assessment and your 2024 stage game plan. You'll be able to download both of those for free.
This is the year to shed the things that keep you from running at full speed. This is the year to set your intentions, not just on wealth or business, but on all five dimensions so you are truly winning in life.
